Pastor Kenneth Middleton is the Pastor of Bluff Road United Methodist Church in Columbia, South Carolina. He was appointed to this role in July, 2019.

Prior to this appointment, Pastor Middleton served as a minister in training at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.  While there, he provided support to the missions and outreach team worked with various charities including 7 Bridges, Covenant House, Trinity Big Bethel and The Angel Tree Network.  His work included ministry to the Wesley Woods Nursing Home and the Roswell Nursing Home, providing church and prayer service for the seniors in residence.  Pastor Middleton also previously served as a youth pastor for the North Springs United Methodist Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia, working with students in 6th through 12th grade.

Pastor Middleton is dedicated to his entire church community, helping people to see themselves in the Bible and affirming who they are as children of God.  His work is particularly focused on the youth and the elderly and he is passionate about using his ministry to help bridge the generational gap and build mutual respect and love in the community.

Pastor Middleton completed Bachelors of Science in Christian Ministries at Point University in May of 2015. Pastor Middleton completed his Master of Divinity degree at Gammon Theological Seminary in May of 2020.  While attending Gammon he completed his chaplain internship at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  He is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1987 to 1997.

Pastor Middleton is married to Jenny R. Middleton, an insurance professional as well as a gifted singer.  Together, they have a blended family with 4 children and 1 grandson.

His favorite scripture is Psalms 112: Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments!
